nPM6001 PMIC

Nordic Thingy:91 X Hardware

The nPM6001 Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) supplies the nRF7002 Wi-Fi® 6 companion Integrated Circuit (IC) on the Nordic Thingy:91 X™.

The nPM6001 PMIC steps down the unregulated nPM1300 PIMIC VSYS output to 3.6 V. Only BUCK3 is in use. BUCK1 can be disabled in hardware by connecting its output to VIN. BUCK2 can be disabled in hardware by connecting its output to VO0. The nPM6001 PMIC Low-Dropout Regulator (LDO)s are not in use, and they are disabled by default.
