Skills in guided workflows

You do not need to search for or install skills manually during normal Nordic MCP use.

The AI assistant performs these steps for each guided workflow:

1. Searches the Nordic MCP skill library before using custom tools or commands.
2. Selects a relevant skill when one covers the requested hardware or task.
3. Explains the proposed skill and asks for your approval.
4. Installs the approved skill into the current workspace.
5. Reads the installed SKILL.md and follows its procedure.

If no skill matches, the assistant continues with the other tools and guidance selected for the workflow. Manual catalog and installation commands remain available when you want to inspect or prepare a workspace yourself.
