In System ON, the LTE radio and all functional blocks are operational and managed by the modem firmware.
Within System ON, the modem firmware transitions automatically between active operation and System ON IDLE sleep to minimize current consumption while meeting LTE service requirements. Sleep transitions are reported to the host through the %SLEEPMODE URC.
The host application influences this behaviour through the commands in 4.6. No sleep-level selection is required or exposed.
