Install a new SDK for use by freestanding applications. This behaves the same as the nRF Connect for Desktop Toolchain Manager, and allows you to download and register any version of the nRF Connect SDK.
In addition to every official release of the nRF Connect SDK, you can download the main branch to get the current development state of the SDK, or select a custom SDK repository (like Zephyr or your own fork of the SDK) by pressing the repo-button in the top right corner.
Note
We strongly recommend building your application with an official release of the SDK, as we don't actively provide support for users on the main branch or any alternative repositories.
